Samir S. Al Hadidi, MD, attended the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Aleppo in Syria, and received his medical degree in 1979 and graduated in the top 5% of his class. He then served his surgical externship at the University of Jordan in Amman. Furthermore, he relocated to the United States, where he conducted his internship in internal medicine at Ascension Macomb Hospital (1981-1982), internal medicine residency at Wayne State University (1982-1985), and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Science Center and MD Anderson Cancer Institute (1986-1988). In addition, Dr. Al Hadidi received board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
